Her research interests focus on teacher knowledge and professional development

Her research interests focus on teacher knowledge and professional development, with a special focus on technology integration. Particularly interested in theoretical frameworks related to technology integration, she is the author of the knowledge model KTMT – Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics with Technology (Rocha 2013, 2020) and of the Global Model (Rocha, 2024, 2025).

With several national and international publications, she is associate editor of journal Quadrante (ISSN 2183-2838) and member of the editorial board of journal Research in Mathematics Education (ISSN 1479-4802).
